Gear Second vs Gear Third

Which gear do you think makes Luffy more powerful/awesome.
I think Gear Second is better because of the speed and strength increase. I know Gear Third gives a wider range and harder hits, but Gear Second makes him better at speed, strength, and more abilities.

I also like gear second better, not a big fan of the huge elephant gun hand, I think he looks a lot cooler when using gear 2nd.
