I just checked my bookshelf. I have about 21 unread manga just sitting there.

I move in two weeks. I don't have room for it in my dorm.

Looks like I better get cracking.

Wow, manga is REALLY hard for me to read quickly, I grew up and became used to simply watching anime, so now I guess I should get cracking too =)

BTW, what manga are you reading and in what order (maybe you could give me the jist of it, since your 21 manga marathon may not be ALL stellar, but I may be wrong =) )

Oh, let's see. I tagged all of them so I know which ones I haven't read yet, lol.

5 Centimeters per Second
Aion (shame it got cancelled, although I can finish it online)
Bakuman
Black God
A Certain Scientific Railgun (2 volumes)
Chibi Vampire (another one that got cancelled)
Gunslinger Girl
Higurashi Atonement Arc (3 volumes)
Ikigami
Is this a Zombie?
Kannagi
K-ON! (2 volumes)
Kimikiss
Madoka Magica (seen the anime, might as well see if the manga adaptation is any good, lol)
Omamori Himari (3 volumes)
Spice and Wolf (3 volumes)

Add that to all the visual novels I'm trying to clear and... wow. I'm screwed Smile

Yeah it's the same for me. I can only read 10 chapters max a day. I usually read only 5 a day though.

My fastest time in reading 100+ chapters is 26+ hours, and the manga is Fruits Basket. I was reading it from 5-6 pm to 6 AM and slept, I woke up in about 12 PM then started reading again.

Reading Manga is not my thing. Sometimes, I find it hard to understand what's going on the Manga (like the recent chapters of D.Gray-Man; I'm not sure if Allen is really Allen or is he Mana? or what... Anyways...). Due to this I limit the Mangas I read and these Mangas are Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail and D.Gray-Man (yes, I'm still reading it even though I'm really lost).

I tried reading Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) and Bakuman; but I stopped once I got to its 4th or 5th Volume...

The fastest I read was on Naruto. It took me 6 hours straight to read from Chapter 150 to 210 (Approximate Numbers). My slowest was on D.Gray-Man, which took me 2 hours to read 5 chapters...

I train myself through books, and if the plot is interesting, I'll do anything just to read it. One of my dreams is to be a writer, I get my ideas from mangas and animes. They're my inspiration. Smile

That happens to me often, so sometimes I reread them when I'm bored. Which is most of the time.

There is always room for manga. Poor manga. Gets left behind. Now they know how the toys in Toy Story 3 felt.

I actually prefer manga over anime.
That's why I read there are so many series I read as manga but never get around to watching as an anime.

My fastest was reading 200+ chapters of Fairy Tail in about 3 days.

I prefer manga over anime too. Mainly because I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Yaoi, and well, you just don't see a whole lot of Yaoi anime. Anywho. I can't tell you how many I read or how fast either cause I just don't keep track. I can say that I have over 100 manga books and 102 GB of manga on my computer. That is 7,141 folders with 315,800 files. That's not even all of it.

That's a lot of manga you got there.

But I'm a guy so yaoi is kinda, how should I say this, taboo to me. No

I guess Yuri's okay with me.

Don't worry, I won't judge you as a lesbian. Not that there's anything wrong with being one.
