I stopped reading & watching Naruto for while so I don't have any theories to share with you people. Is his real identity shown yet? I don't know lol I stopped reading the manga months ago.
But anyway...if not..then who do you think he is then?

Pardon me if this does not agree with you in any way. I'm only stating my opinion:
his rinnegan and sharingan plays a factor of solving his identity. we've been only introduced to two characters who possessed the rinnegan eyes (well three actually if you were to count nagato, but tobi claimed that the rinnegan eyes were his to begin with...). They are: the Sage of Six Paths and Madara Uchiha (who's currently fighting the kages). As I said... is it possible to have one soul present in two bodies? if not, then would tobi be the Sage of Six Paths? not likely in my opinion...
then as for his sharingan... based on how the latest chapter of naruto explained it. both tobi's and kakashi's sharingan eyes are similar... is it possible to obtain it from kakashi's dead friend? but i don't think that's possible. since half of his body was crushed with the boulder that feel on him... or can two pairs of sharingan eyes be the same? (i thought that they were unique to each user?)
he also knows the Uchiha clan pretty darn well. he may be an Uchiha???

You have quite a point there. I'm not updated in Naruto, so I'm not really sure what's happenin' right now. My strongest guess is Madara, but my logic still has a lot of contradictions in it.

No, he is not Madara Uchiha because he is in the last coffin. Which means the Tobi we know is not Madara but someone else.

Apparently, Tobi got his Sharingan at the Battle of Kikyo Pass but it never epliitly stated that he got it from Obito, so it is still undecided where he got Sharingan. This means he's probably not Obito either.
But he does seem to know Kakashi pretty well, though, so he may have possibly been from Konoha. Also, he knows a lot about the Uchiha.
Takuma is right. He did claim that the Rinnegan was his originally, so we still don't know anything about that.
But Kishimoto did say that Tobi's identity will be revealed in the next few weeks, so if you really want to know, I suggest you begin reading Naruto now.

I agree with you. And the fact that Naruto has a great number of characters already... I don't think it is wise to add a whole new character to the story.

Shit! The latest Naruto Chapter left me hanging. I won't spoil anything but I'll tell you my reaction to it. I went, "I had the same feeling! Banzai! WOOT! YEAH! AWESOME!" as I read through the pages. Then I went, "AAAaaawww... You got to be kidding me..." near the ending.
