Yes there are copyright policies but not against unlicensed anime. Even then, its up to the copyright owner(s) on whether or not they want to do anything about it. They can have it blocked in certain countries, have it blocked worldwide, or have ads put on it.

Well that just depends on the copyright holder. I noticed that a lot of my videos have copyright claims but they put ads on my video, which allows them to collect money from those ads. They also put links on the video page, where you can download the song from itunes or amazon. So in the end, its a win/win. They get money from the ads and song downloads and I get to share my AMVs.
its completely their decision. We don't find out until later. It will have a link that says that there has been a copyright claim made. When you click on it, it tells you what they did. Either Ads, blocked worldwide, blocked in certain countries, or nothing.
