| In almost every anime I've seen, the female lead always needs to be rescued(Rukia : Bleach, Orihime : Bleach, Lucy : Fairy Tail, Robin : One Piece).
Is it a necessity or just a staple? But why does that always happen? | |

| JUST MY OPINION - Well to develop romance  !! You know when he saves her there are flashy scenes and then later very romantic ones :O !! Just to have romance in main charceters ? You can;t just have like Girl : Love at first sight Boy : Love at first sight Especially in animes like One piece and fairytail hahah ! | |

| If I had to guess on why they do it. My guess would be. Some women love to be rescued. They like a night in shinning armor coming in and taking them away. So that is why they would do it for the girls. As for guys. Some men feel that its their duty to protect women. Its something that is ingrained in them from a young age. | |
